We offer free consultations to all new and existing clients. Our consultations will include a free quote for our services so you know what you can expect every step of the way. CVLS is comprised of 2,100+ volunteer attorneys who donate free services to thousands of low-income Chicagoans annually.
The mission of Prairie State Legal Services is to ensure equal access to justice and fair treatment under the law by providing legal advice and representation, advocacy, education, and outreach that server to protect basic human needs and enfoce or uphold rights.
CARPLS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Yes, we have an unusual name, but we do serious work. We are Cook County’s largest provider of free legal services through our main hotline. We also help low- and moderate-income Illinoisans through our special projects.
At Legal Aid Chicago, we work together to provide high quality civil legal aid to people living in poverty and other vulnerable groups.
